How does Polygon handle ticker changes and acquisitions?

Our market data is point-in-time, meaning the data is returned as it happened on a specific date.

We do not change the data or concatenate ticker changes into a single aggregate series. We have a Ticker Events endpoint that will provide information about the full history of a company or ticker symbol, including changes to the ticker symbol, delistings, mergers, acquisitions, etc.
